Kenya: HEDI is grateful the National Examinations Team operations
Principal Secretary for Basic Education, Dr. Belio Kipsang has challenged the multi-agency team to improve on the systems already developed in the management and handling of examination materials in the Country.
He noted that nobody should be worried when the examination papers are in the hands of the examination managers as they are entrusted with the responsibility to deliver credible exams.
“It is time to have the exam containers as storage facilities and build on adequate trust amongst ourselves,” he said. Let us start eliminating the trust deficit,” added the PS.
Dr. Belio made his remarks today while leading the distribution exercise of #KCSE2022 examination materials at Westlands Sub County, Nairobi County.
The PS affirmed that the #KCSE2022 is going on smoothly across the country and urged the center managers and the security team to maintain the exam atmosphere until the learners finish their exams well.
He further cautioned Centre managers and other examination handlers to avoid any engagement on activities that would compromise the future of young learners in the examination center.
